USMC Sgt. Jerry P. Yazzie Sr served four years, he earned the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, 1st Award, Honorable Discharged, Specialty Title: Tank Crewman. He proudly served his country and enjoyed leading the platoon. He loved telling stories of his adventures abroad, his experiences and his encounters with people of different cultures across the sea.
