Funeral for US Army SGT Tiffany Benally 7/14

US Army SGT Tiffany BenallyST. MICHAELS, AZ – The family of veteran US Army SGT Tiffany Benally is humbly requesting a funeral escort on July 14, 2020 Tuesday from St. Michaels, Az to Ft. Defiance Veterans Cemetery.

Gravesite service will be at 10:00am. Services will be conducted in accordance with CDC and Navajo Nation Covid-19 guidelines to protect all friends and family, thank you for understanding and cooperating.

US Army SGT Tiffany Benally was Mą’ii deeshgiizhinii  born for Dibéłzhíní  her maternal grandfather is Tótsohnii and her paternal grandfather is Tábąąhá. She was a strong proud Diné Asdzaan from Steamboat, Az. Our hero SGT. Benally served 12 years 7 months in the Army and was honorably discharged in 2018. She was awarded the Army Service Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Ribbon, Iraqi Campaign Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, 3 Good Conduct Medals, two Overseas Service Ribbon, One Army Commendation Medal and three Army Achievement Medals. SGT Benally fulfilled the obligation of living up to the seven Army values each and everyday. Out of the seven Army values “Honor” is what stood out for her.

She was a proud veteran of amazing parents the late Private Emmette Benally and loving mother Betty Begay, her two adorable children, Davian, Arianna and beautiful sister Timara. She was a loving, caring, sweet, smart, beautiful, respectful, strong, kind-hearted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, family and friends to many. May you Rest in Peace our sweet angel. You will be missed and forever in our hearts. We love you.
