Can anyone attend the board meetings?
Yes, riders interested in the planning meetings for the annual ride are welcome to do so, all meetings will be posted on our website and facebook/nhhro.
When did NHHR start?
2003, the year we lost Spec. Lori Piestewa. The riders from Navajo and Hopi communities made a vow to ‘ Ride for Lori’ and began coming together every year in the month of May. Today, the honor riders ride for all fallen warriors in and around Navajo and Hopi communities.
Do you sell merchandise?
Yes, we will have the annual commemorative tshirt for sale and RED Friday long sleeve tshirts. We also have patches and stickers you can purchase with the Navajo Hopi Honor Riders logo throughout the year. Click on ‘Shop/Donate’ tab
Do I need to register for the Annual Run in May?
Yes, riders will complete a participation form and rider safety acknowledgment. Each rider is responsible for valid insurance for their motorcycle and valid drivers license. Please send us an email to confirm what dates you will be riding with us, this will help our Road Guards in preparing for traffic logistics throughout the four day run in month of May.
How can our family request for honor riders to escort our veteran?
We have honor riders throughout the Navajo and Hopi reservation, including nearby cities. We do require accurate information and date of motorcycle escort needed, please download the NHHR_EscortRequest.pdf file here and email to us at info.nhhr@gmail.com.
