ALBUQUERQUE, NM – The family of US Army SPC Joshua Joseph Van Kanawite humbly requests for a funeral escort for their beloved veteran on Monday, July 15 from ALBQ to Santa Fe, NM.
Staging location/date: 7/15/19 Monday- 0645 MST at Daniels Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth St. NW, Albuquerque, NM

Destination: Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N. Guadalupe St., Santa Fe, NM 87501 (57 miles driving north on I-25)
US Army SPC Joshua Joseph Van Kanawite was enlisted from February 4, 2016 to July 2, 2019, he is Navajo and Zuni Pueblo. He enlisted into US Army during his time in service, he was deployed to Iraq-Afghanistan-Syria. His first duty overseas was to Camp Humphreys, South Korea. He was assigned to a Engineer Battalion as an engineer.
The Navajo Hopi Honor Riders send their condolences to his family and will keep them in our prayers. We are very grateful for his service, as we remember that freedom is not free.
