Bernice was a generous and kind hearted mother to give children and ten grandchildren, who was loved by many and respected. She was a friend, colleague, a mentor, advisor and loved to laugh with everyone she met. She was a well known community member, she was the secretary of Wheatfields Chapter. Worked at Imperial Mary and Big O Tires in Chinle. She spent 17 years with Dine College as a bookstore assistant, she loved to weave. Often had hot food ready to feed people and made people happy with her hospitality and friendly spirit. She will be dearly missed.
