ROUND ROCK, AZ – Funeral service for USMC Cpl. Donovan Matthew Benally on June 3, 2020 Wednesday. From Summit Mortuary in St Michael at 7:30am to Chinle to Round Rock family plot.

Leaving Summit Mortuary, St. Michaels, AZ at 7:30am. Burial will be in Round Rock family plot, graveside service @10am with limited attendees (10 ppl).
USMC Cpl. Donovan Matthew Benally received the Combat Action Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (w/1 star), Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, National Defense service Medal, Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation. His Primary Specialty was Combat Engineer. He did two tours in Iraq. We will miss Donnie greatly. He leaves behind his wife and 3 children. He was a great husband and a great father, and he impacted the lives of so many people around the world. He was perhaps the first
He was perhaps the first Navajo missionary into the nation of China. He was the Assistant Pastor of The Potter’s House in Chinle, Arizona. His labor in the Lord was not in vain, “well done, thy good and faithful servant”. He was “Always Faithful” in everything he did and he lived out the Marine Corps motto to the end, SEMPER FI. Today, he has made heaven his home, and we will see him again.
