ZUNI, NM – On Tuesday, April 28, 2020, Cecileey J. Begay, loving wife of US Army SGT Shawn A. Begay, passed away at age 29. Cecileey was a mother of two wonderful children, Sadie 10 yrs. old and Mason 7 yrs. old, she was also a godmother to 13 year old twins. She was a wonderful partner and provided the best support possible while her husband SGT Begay when he was deployed overseas to Iraq, Kuwait, Germany and Poland for extended duration. Additionally, she supported her husband during reserve time while he was fighting wild land fires as a Zuni hotshot. Cecileey was a tribal member from the Zuni Santo Domingo (Kewa) and San Felipe Tribe. She will be missed dearly and always remembered for her kind heart.
Burial service will be in Zuni, NM on Saturday, May 2, 2020
