IN LOVING MEMORY OF US ARMY SGT. CLIFTON J. YAZZIE

FEB 20, 1982 -JAN 20, 2006 KIA OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM

“I DID MY DUTY, I PAID THE SUPREME PRICE, I PRAY YOU’LL REMEMBER MY SACRIFICE. MY LIFE WAS SHORT, I DID MY BEST. GOD GRANT ME PEACE IN MY ETERNAL REST”

On behalf of Navajo Hopi Honor Riders, we remember those who gave their lives for our freedom. Please keep the family of US Army Sgt. Clifton J. Yazzie in your prayers along with all of our fallen warriors.

US Army Sgt. Clifton J. Yazzie of Fruitland NM was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat team, 101st Airborne Division. He was killed on January 20, 2006 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his Humvee during patrol operations in Huwijah, Iraq. Also killed were: Staff Stg. Rickey Scott. Sgt. Dennis J. Flanagan and Spc. Matthew C. Frantz.  Rest In Peace.

Currently, the Navajo Hopi Honor Riders host the Annual Lori Piestewa Navajo Hopi Honor Ride to remember all KIA MIA POW and veterans from the Navajo & Hopi communities which takes place every year in the month of May, where we HONOR, REMEMBER and SUPPORT military families of our Fallen to let them know that their loved one is NOT FORGOTTEN. #neverforget #goldstarfamilies #thankaveteran
