GALLUP, NM – The family of beloved veteran is humbly requesting for a funeral escort on Thursday, August 29, 2019, from Thoreau, NM to Gallup, for US Army veteran SPC Hoskie Saunders Jim.

Destination: 1pm – Gallup State Veterans Cemetery, Gallup, NM
Route: 38 miles west on I-40
Funeral begins at 10am. US Army veteran SPC Hoskie Saunders Jim served in the US Army during the Vietnam War from 1967-1970. He was attached to an artillery unit that support artillery firepower to places like Hamburger Hill. After his service, he married and had three sons and resided in Thoreau, NM.
Honor riders are invited to reception immediately following burial at Thoreau resident, 1/4 mile northwest of Thoreau High School, County Rd 27.
