The Poocha family is humbling requesting  for the Navajo-Hopi Honor Riders, along with invitation to all surrounding riding communities for an Honor Escort for our Hero, We will be honored to do so.
Byron Poocha served with great pride in  United States Marine Corps from 1975 to 1979.  He earned the Commandant of the Marine Corp Award, Good Conduct Medal, and the Sharpshooter Medal.  During his four years in the Corps he earned the rank of E-5 Sgt.  He served in several locations including Camp Pendleton, Twenty-nine Palms, and Yuma MCAS. Byron was a life-long motorcycle rider and Honor Rider. Representing the Hopi Nation he particiapted in many escorts to honor military and veterans. W
