US Army PFC Richard J EarlST.MICHAELS, AZ – Monday July 6, 2020, funeral service for US Army PFC Richard J. Earl, 89 years old.

Mortuary: 8:00am Summit Funeral Home, St. Michaels, Az.
Destination: Navajo Station burial plot (37 miles, see map), from St. Michaels to Ganado and south to Navajo Station Rd.

Gravesite service at Navajo Station will begin at 10:00am.

US Army PFC Richard J. Earl was Naneesht’ézhí Táchii’nii, born for Dibéłizhiní, Tódich’inii and Táchii’nii. Richard Earl was a proud Diné who never gave up, he always challenged himself everyday to his last breath. Strong in faith and tradition, wise and smart, strict and a very hard worker. Old age taking him peacefully at the age of 89. Richard remained humorous and respectful, qualities for which he’ll always be remembered. A Korean War Veteran, Heavy Equipment Operator, Surveyor, Horseman and a Rancher. With his many occupations he showed skill, talent and passion. Gone but not forgotten.

Our beloved veteran was our brother, father, uncle, grandpa nali. We feel truly grateful and blessed to have had him in our life. He was loved and will be missed, rest well Richard J. Earl PFC.
