US Army PFC Gene M. Begaye was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather. He served in Vietnam and was a Purple Heart recipient, he served from 1966-1968. Upon returning, he became a master of many trades and worked for NHA for more than 40 years. We will remember him as an amazing, intelligent, funny, protective and very dedicated man. He enjoyed spending time with family, working on building projects, watching NFL and PBR. He also enjoyed traveling and learning about other cultures. The family is very thankful for all the kind words, prayers and good energy. He will be greatly missed.
