Funeral Escort for Hugh Interpreter
SP5 US Army, enlisted from May 1968 to January 1970

 

Attention Honor Riders, the family of the late Hugh Interpreter is requesting a funeral escort for our hero. Hugh was 71 years old, he attended school in Keams Canyon and Ganado Mission, after high school he enlisted in the Army. In 1971, he married his high school sweetheart, Loma Myron of Oriabi, Az. They had seven children, three daughters and four sons, also six grandchildren. Hugh was employed for Peabody Coal Company for over 30 years as a dragline operator. He was also a rancher, with cattle and horses. Hugh was very involved with the honor guards in Forest Lake and Oljato area. He will be remembered as an awesome brother, father, grand-dad and friend. Invitation to all surrounding riding communities we are asking for your support for the family during this time.

Staging: 745am (DST) Tuba City junction at Tuuvi gas station, wait for hearse vehicle to arrive from Flagstaff, Az.
KSU: 800am (DST) Tuba City, Tuuvi Gas Station
Destination: 9:10am (DST) Black Mesa Shopping Center junction
Riders can continue up to Peabody Coal Warehouse, where pavement ends, road is very rough and possible mud, bikers are advised to stop a Peabody Warehouse.
