Gold Star Mothers Day on Navajo Nation

The Board of Directors of the Navajo Hopi Honor Riders cordially invites Gold Star Mothers and Families to the Navajo Nation Memorial Park on Sunday September 29, 2024.

We will be recognizing the sacrifice these families have made and honoring their loved ones who were killed in action while in military service in the defense of the Navajo Nation and the United States of America.
Gold Star Familes will be escorted by NHHR riders from Quality Inn to Veterans Memorial Park.
(staging will start at 1130am at Quality Inn and kick stands up 12pm)
A short ceremony will commence with the Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem. Gold Star Families will be presented with certificates and a lapel pin. The ceremony will end with remarks by the Gold Star Families in remembrance of their loved ones.
This event is open to the public. (See attached flyer)
