Funeral escort for USMC veteran Oscar L. House Sr.

FT.DEFIANCE, AZ – The family of USMC veteran Oscar L. House Sr. is humbly requesting a funeral escort on Friday April 9, 2021.
STAGING: 10:00 am(DST) Good Shepherd Mission, 1 Kit Carson Dr, Fort Defiance
KSU: 10:30 am(DST)
GAS STOP: 12:00 pm Hopi Travel Plaza
DESTINATION: 1:00pm Desert View Cemetery, Winslow, Az
Funeral service will be conducted for immediate family only. Thereafter, visitors may pay their respect immediately following services will be conducted in accordance with CDC and Navajo Nation Covid-19 guidelines to protect friends and family. Thank you for understanding and cooperating.
USMC veteran Oscar L. House Sr ,87, he was born April 22, 1933, he served his country proudly from 1954 to 1959. Private service will be at the Good Shepherd Mission in Fort Defiance, with Rev. Cathlena Plummer officiating. Burial will follow at the Desert View Cemetery in Winslow, Arizona.Cmdr. Daniel Yazza of the Tséhootsooí Twin Warrior Society Veteran Organization, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6789 of Fort Defiance, along with honor guards, will perform a 21-gun salute.
Special guest Steven L. Damon of Fort Defiance will perform the Bird Song and other songs.
