Gallup, NM – The family of USMC CPL Thomas Yazzie Jr and also US Navy veteran humbly requesting a funeral escort on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.

DESTINATION: Gallup State Veterans Cemetery
Thomas was born May 2,1953. He graduated from Intermountain High School in Brigham City, Utah. He joined the US Marine Corps for 6 years and also served in the US Navy for 4 years. He was a licensed Journeyman Electrician. He was a devoted husband, wonderful father, and a lovable grandpa. He was very friendly and outgoing, always lending a hand when a friend was in need. He enjoyed seafood and having cookouts. He had a special heart for the stray dogs and took in as many as he could. He loved watching western and war movies. He was an employee with Fire Rock Casino where he was respected by his coworkers. He was loved and will be missed greatly.
