LOS LUNAS, NM – The family of USMC CPL Silas Theodore Foster is humbly requesting a funeral escort on Wednesday September 01, 2021.
STAGING: 10:30am Grace Fellowship Church, 3384 NM-47, Los Lunas, NM 87031
KSU: 11:15 am
DESTINATION: Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM
ROUTE: head north on I-25 (86 miles)
Funeral service will begin at 10:00am in Los Lunas at the Grace Fellowship Church.
USMC CPL Silas Theodore Foster, 34, is originally from Hogback, New Mexico, which is located on the Navajo Nation. He lived in Valencia County the last 5 years. His clans are Naasht’ézhi dine’é, Bit’ahnii, ‘Áshįįhi , Tódich’ii’nii. Silas graduated from Kirtland Central High School and joined the Marine Corps right after he graduated. Silas was a kind soul that loved spending time with family.
He served his country proudly from 2005-2007. Honors, medals, ribbon and awards include Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal; Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Iraq; Sea Service Deployment Ribbon; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; National Defense Service Medal; Certificate of Appreciation; Expert Rifle Badge; Sharpshooter Pistol Badge
