Funeral escort for US Navy HM3 Courtney Joe on 7/2

FT. DEFIANCE, AZ – The family of US Navy HM3 Courtney Joe is humbly requesting a funeral escort on Friday July 2, 2021.
STAGING: 10:30am The Family Church Assembly of God, Ft Defiance, Az (across from 7-11 store)
KSU: 11:00 am-11:30am
DESTINATION: Turn off to Blue Canyon Rd, family burial plot, Sawmill, Az.
US Navy HM3/USMC Courtney Joe was born Nov.01, 1980 in Gallup, NM. He served the Navy as a FMF Corpsman from December 2005 to May 2016, he attended training and school in Chicago, IL and San Antonio, TX. He then served 8 months in Iraq from August 2008 to April 2009
He has been stationed in Camp Pendleton, CA, Kuwait 2010-2011, Spain 2011-2013 and back to Camp Pendleton until 2016.
He served our country with pride and courage. He was a smart, brave and loyal solider. He saved lives in the medical field and he wanted to continue this field after he had left the service. He leaves behind his long time love, LeeAnn John, Father Curtis Joe (USMC Veteran), Brothers Ryan Joe, CJ Joe and Sister Lauren Joe.
He enjoyed listening to variety of music, loved working on cars, watching Horror, action and 80s movies, drawing, spray painting and reading books and poetry.
He will be greatly missed by family and friends near and far. Thank you for your service Joe.
