Farmington, NM– The family of US Army veteran Wallace De McGilbert Sr. humbly requesting a funeral escort on Friday, July 14, 2023.

Our beloved father was 95 years old and a Purple Heart Veteran in the 45th Infantry Division from 1950-1953. He worked for the Navajo Tribe for several years. Also, he served as a council delegate and served as a member of various committees.
My father passed away on July 7th in Durango CO. He is survived by my mother Betty whom he was married to for 68 years, They have 3 children, 3 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. We all loved him very dearly.
