Window Rock, AZ – The family of US Army National Guard PVT Melvin W. Gatewood humbly requesting a funeral escort on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

DESTINATION: Ft Defiance Veterans Cemetery
ROUTE: Hwy 264 to Window Rock, north towards Ft. Defiance
US Army National Guard Private Melvin W. Gatewood, was 53 years old. He served 8-9 years in the National Guard and was honorably discharged on 06/11/2005. He was a helpful, encouraging, and strong son, father, brother, uncle and chei to many people. His teaching and energy will never leave the mind of those it touched. He loved his family and friends and always spoke highly of them. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
