ALBUQUERQUE, NM – The family of US Army MSG Cecelia B. Finona is humbly requesting a funeral escort on Monday July 19, 2021 and Tuesday July 20, 2021.

US Army MSG Cecelia B. Finona, 59, was born in Shiprock, NM, she served 31 years proudly in the US Army, she has two children and 9 grandchildren. She has been missing since May 2019, months before her disappearance, she was featured in the Farmington Daily Times in a story about women in the military being honored in Shiprock. The search for Finona has been endless, her body was found in Clark County, Nevada.
On July 19th we will escort our mother, “Cece,” back home and have the opportunity to finally lay her to rest with the respect and honor she deserves. US Army MSG Cecelia B. Finona will be greeted by her immediate family and then she will be escorted home to Navajo Nation by motorcycles.
