Funeral escort for USMC LCPL Jones Lou Juan

GALLUP, NM – The family of USMC LCPL Jones Lou Juan is requesting a funeral escort on Wednesday February 10, 2021.

STAGING: 7:30am Cope Memorial, Gallup, NM
KSU: 8:00 am
DESTINATION: Whiterock, NM (28 miles north of Crownpoint, NM)

Gravesite service will be conducted for immediate family only. Thereafter, visitors may pay their respect immediately following services will be conducted in accordance with CDC and Navajo Nation Covid-19 guidelines to protect friends and family. Thank you for understanding and cooperating.

USMC LCPL Jones Lou Juan served his country for 3 years, he was the son of the late Hoskie and Elta Juan of Lake Valley community, he had 10 siblings. He was Dziłtł’ahnii ( Montain Cove Clan), born for Folded Arms Clan, his maternal grandfather are Tábąąhá (Edge Waters Clan) and paternal grandfather Tsenabahił nii (Sleep Rock People). He graduated from Wingate High school, entered Marines in 1981 honorably discharged in 1984, he was very respectful of military veterans as well as those who are serving, he always had love for the Rodeo circuit as well and riding saddle bronc himself. He loved his children and his family, he left memories his family will always remember and keep dear to their hearts. He was a man of many trades; he was a silversmith and also a union carpenter. He will always be loved and remembered by his children, family, relatives and friends. Gone but not forgotten.
