16th Annual NHHR Route Flyer

16TH ANNUAL NAVAJO HOPI HONOR RUN , MAY 17-20, 2018

THANK YOU TO ALL RIDERS, PARTICIPANTS AND SUPPORTERS DURING THIS REMEMBRANCE AND TRIBUTE TO ALL THE GOLD STAR FAMILIES WHERE WE ALSO ACKNOWLEDGE THE BLUE STAR FAMILIES AND GIVE GRATITUDE TO OUR VETERANS AND SUPPORT FOR ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY PERSONNEL.

During our ride we will unite together in a respectful manner to let our families know that their love ones who paid the ultimate price for our freedom will not be forgotten. The Annual Run was originally started in 2003 to honor Spec. Lori Piestewa, the first female Native American to be killed in combat. Since then, there have been more Navajo Gold Star families that have lost a loved one in the U.S. involved in military conflicts. We are an all-volunteer organization that coordinates this yearly event to remember all KIA, MIA, POW and Veterans from the Navajo and Hopi Nations.
On May 17th,18th,19th and 20th we will be covering more than 1000 miles, with dozens of Blue and Gold Star families of Native military personnel. Many heartfelt receptions and ceremonies honoring the families and individuals are planned.

We look forward to you joining us!
