Funeral escort for USMC LCpl Jack Wesley on 10/30

GALLUP, NM – The family of USMC LCpl Jack Wesley is requesting a funeral escort on Friday October 30, 2020.

DESTINATION: Newcomb Veterans and Community Cemetery, Newcomb, NM

Graveside service conducted for immediate family only at noon. Thereafter, visitors may pay their respect immediately following services will be conducted in accordance with CDC and Navajo Nation Covid-19 guidelines to protect friends and family. Thank you for understanding and cooperating.

USMC LCpl Jack Wesley was born in Shiprock, NM on March 9, 1949. He graduated from Phoenix Indian High School and then joined the Marine Corps on April 14, 1970. His primary MOS was 2511 wireman/fieldwire, he was stationed in Kanoehe Bay, Hawaii. He was discharged on January 15, 1970, then moved to Albuquerque, NM. He left this world on October 24, 2020.

Survivors include his son Terrance Cameron Wesley; daughters Madelene Lee, Marlene Willis, Valerie Herrera, Melanie Begay; brothers Herbert Gleason, Charles Wesley Jr., Kenny Wesley; sister Priscilla Antonio; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son Clarence Chee; parents Mary and Charles Wesley Sr; brother Robert Gleason; and sisters Grace Gleason, Louise Aloysuis and Julia Wesley.
