Funeral services will be at Winslow LDS Church starting at 10am (MST) and viewing at 9am. Escort to family plot located at the base of mountain by Mitchells residence, Chandler Springs, Az. Reception to follow at Dilkon LDS Branch at 2pm (MST)
SSGT Mitchell served in US Army, Korean War veteran. He served a total of 6 years, 3 in Korea and 3 in reserves. Combat Infantry Badge, Airborne Qualified, Purple Heart, Bronze Star with valor recipient. He was born in Chinle, Az in 1931 and also retired heavy equipment operator from El Paso Gas Co. He was a loving husband, father, uncle and grandfather.
