He was a smart\, brave and loyal solider. He saved lives in the medical field and he wanted to continue this field after he had left the service. Enlisted from December 14\, 1967 to December 09\, 1970. He was in the reserve until December 13\, 1973\, then honorable discharged. He was trained as an Engineer Powertrain Specialist. He served Domestic\, Sea and Active Duty in Vietnam. He served as Navajo Nation Council Delegate for Teesto/Dilkon Chapter from 1983 to 1987. As a Council Delegate he defended his constituents of Teesto/Dilkon areas. He continued to protect\, defend and represent all veterans of previous wars\, present enlisted service of men and women and Gold Star Mothers. He volunteered his service as elected Commander of Blue Gap Veterans Organization. One of many examples of his dedication to his people and to the veterans was when the Navajo Nation started to experience the COVID-19 pandemic. He and the Vice Commander Eddie Yazzie and Many Farms Secretary/Treasurer\, Jacqueline Begaye started to gather supplies; water\, food\, PPE and deliver to veterans and people of the Blue Gap area. In spite of his illness he volunteered and also served as president of Chinle Valley School for disabled individuals. He was very active in Gourd Dancing.
