Country Club Dr. Mesa\, Az 85210\nKSU: 12:15pm\nDESTINATION: National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona\, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd\, Phoeniz\, Az\nROUTE: Country Club to North 101 to Cave Creek Rd. \nUSMC CPL Lenell Jo Billings is the daughter of Tony and Lena Tahe. Lenell grew up on the Navajo Reservation in Hardrock\, Az. She is of the Edgewater clan\, born for Two Waters flowing together clan\, her maternal clan is Rock Gap\, and her paternal clan is Black Streak in the Wood. She was born on 11/7/1983 in Tuba City\, AZ\, and she was in pursuit of her Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design at ASU. \nHer awards are as follows: Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal\, Iraq Campaign Medal\, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon\, and Armed Forces Reserve Medal w/ “M” Device (2nd AWD). \nLenell is survived by her husband\, George; her children: Jacelyn\, John\, Calais\, Caris\, Khione\, and Jane. Her loved ones will remember her smile\, strength\, calmness\, patience\, toughness and her love of cats. \nAt the age of 19\, Lenell enlisted in the Marines. She valued this service highly and attained the rank of Corporal. Her primary occupation was Bulk Fuel Specialist\, activated in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. \nOn behalf of the Navajo Hopi Honor Riders\, we send our condolences and prayers to the family of USMC CPL Lenell Jo Billings.
