(Riders\, last 8-10 miles will be dirt road after chapter house\, bikes will stop at chapter house & salute the veteran as Hearst continues)\nRoute: (115miles) St. Michaels\, Pinon\, Forest Lake Chapter\, family burial plot northeast of Forest Lake Chapter (nearest gas station Pinon\, Az) \nUS Army SGT Roland Kent Yazzie was born on May 12\, 1969 in Keams Canyon\, Az. He was Bitter Water Clan and born for Coyote Pass Clan. His mother is Alice Rose Yazzie and his father Kenneth Yazzie. He served in the US Army Reserve from April 1996 to May 2004. He received the Army reserves components achievement medal\, national defense service medal\, armed forces expeditionary medal\, army services ribbon\, driver and mechanic badge. He is survived by his children Teo Yazzie\, Teri Yazzie\, Donovan Kent Yazzie\, Tia Yazzie and Sunnirose Yazzie\, and his grandchildren Tahlon Honanie\, Andrianna Navakuku\, and Kaitlyn Navakuku. He was prideful in serving his country and we thank him for his service. \nOn behalf of the Navajo Hopi Honor Riders\, we send our condolences and prayers to the family of US Army SGT Roland Kent Yazzie. Defiance Veterans Cemetery \nUS Navy Seaman (E-3) served honorably in the United States Navy from September 4\, 1968 to August 4\, 1972. Taliman served in the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged from active duty. From 1972 to 1974\, he continued serving in the Naval Reserve ManPower Center\, Bainbridge\, Maryland. \nSeaman Taliman received the National Defense Service Medal\, The Vietnam Service Medal and The Vietnam Campaign Medal. After leaving the Navy\, he enrolled in a Trade School\, in Oklahoma\, to become a carpenter. He then worked for the Navajo Tribe Water and Sanitation Department and then the Parks and Recreation Department\nin which he retired. \nPeterson Taliman\,73 was Ta’chi’nii born for Tse’ji’kinii\, was from Navajo Station born August 25\, 1947. His date of death was on August 4\, 2021. He is preceded in death by his Father Isaac Taliman\, his Mother Mary R. Brown and Sisters Marilyn Taliman\, Donna Shirley\, Garnet Smith\, Alberta Yazzie\, Lois Todachenie\, and brothers Freddy and Cato Taliman. He is survived by Sisters Mary Ann Arnold\, Rena and Marie Taliman. \nOn behalf of the Navajo Hopi Honor Riders\, we send our condolences and prayers to the family of US Navy E-3 Peterson Talima.
