Holiday was born on June 2nd\, 1924. He drew his last breath on June 11th\, 2018. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Lupita Mae Holiday and children\, Mabel B. Austin & L. Lisa Miller. And grandchildren Rhayannon & Rhaylynn Redhouse\, \nAt 94yrs old he is survived by 6 children. H. Helena Begaii\, Herman H. Holiday\, Carol Todecheene\, Lupita “Baysha” Holiday\, Corina S. Holiday-Boxton & Samantha “Serta” Holiday. With 35 grandchildren\, 30 great grandchildren & 2 great great grandchildren. \nSamuel T. Holiday was born & raised in Monument Valley\, Ut to Billy Holiday & Betsy Yellow. After attending boarding school in Tuba City he went on to enlist in the United States Marines where he served in the 4th Marine Division\, 25th regiment H and S company. It was here where he became a Navajo Codetalker in World War II. \nPlease direct all Donations to Hughes Mortuary and reference “Samuel T. Holiday Memorial fund” through Wells Fargo bank.
